Sophie---not a fox trotter--SOLD

* 8 year old girl riding her today..

Sophie needs a kid to play with now! Her current owners just got the "fox trotter bug" and bought fox trotters for their family rides. 15 hands (60 inches) at the BASE (not the top) of the withers. Sophie would go great in any direction. She just had 30 days training under her belt...at a cattle ranch in Arizona, and her brain is ready for work & play. She came back knowing how to neck rein and works great with a hackamore. SHe is actually out of a mustang herd originally, so no papers, but very sure footed. Stands well for the farrier, loads in & out of trailer great (we don't own a 2 horse trailer, just big stock trailers). She loves attention, so she is easy to "catch". Just an all around great PRETTY FLASHY horse that would go great in any 4-H or high school rodeo or open show circuit. She is responsive enough to GO but also knows "Whoa". Priced to sell, but only to an approved home. At this price it is a loss on our end, but let it be your gain! :) (The lady in this video riding her is a beginning rider, and Sophie takes care of her riders).

Dessy....

Only 5 days old in these pictures...She was imprinted using Clinton Anderson' techniques....YAY!

Plastic bags are a lullaby to her....she falls asleep to them :) Also, she knows how to "flex" to relax (above). I also have flexed her while she is standing and it is an automatic relaxing cue. Thanks to Clinton Anderson! ;)

This little filly, Dessy, is SO super friendly. From Day 1 she FALLS asleep to a plastic bag being rubbed all over her! Each and every time! Does your horse FALL ASLEEP TO PLASTIC? She is already gaiting around alongside her Dam. Her sire is DCC Vegas, a CURLY Missouri Fox Trotter. Visit HIS website at http://www.zgcurlies.com/ to learn more. Curlies are known for being HypoAllergenic to those who are allergic to horse dander. Many of his straight haired babies have been known to have the same hypoallergenic qualities as the curlies. Dessy is straight haired Missouri Fox Trotter. Unfortunately we HAVE to sell her...The breed fee alone for this baby is $1200. We are asking $800 Firm.
